please help :) winlogon and explorer virus patch.fm and patch.fl

    Hi please help i have a nasty little malware problem on one of my comps :cry ive followed all the instructions to obtain the log files (see attacted) what do i do next :cry

    Download and save this XPsp3bu.exe to your C:\ root folder. You must do this properly. Now run the XPsp3bu.exe program by double clicking on it. You may or may not notice a quick flash of a black window. This is normal. The program runs quickly and just extracts some files we need.

    But Combo is reporting that it has fixed those system files, so please re-run it and attach the new log which will be here:> C:\ComboFix.txt.

    Hi :) thankyou for your help :) have hit a bug, i did as you asked and ran XPsp3bu.exe in the root folder i then ran ComboFix and it asked to update to a newer version

    (im not sure if this is normal but it has asked me this each time this being the third time ive started combofix as i ran it once before i discovered this forum and again as instructed in the cleanup list)

    it downloaded the new version and said it was going to restart, the ComboFix.EXE icon vanished from my desktop and then nothing happened ......
    i would probly usualy try to uninstall and reinstall and start again but i thought id best check with you first.
    your help is very much appreciated once again thankyou :)
