please help with oinadserve

I am visiting my son and trying to get all of the viruses off of his computer...I have downloaded and run Spybot ..have AOL spyware and also Mcafee..losing my mind can not get rid of the IE popups including oinadserve and others...Help!!! I am noooo computer whiz

Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above and you still have a problem, make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below thread to properly use HijackThis and attach the log:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

• Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around..

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:

• CounterSpy
• AVG Antispyware log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy
• Bitdefender - from step 6
• Panda Scan - from step 6
• runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
• newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
• HijackThis

NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

 

thank you so much for your swift reply...unfortunately you are dealing with an old woman that has no idea how to go about doing all that you have requested me to do...I have run Spybot and have checked my program list with the ones you requsted I remove from my system..the only one that was on your list was the "support 06" I removed that...PLEASE HELP AN OLD WOMAN..geez I just want to plya mahjong and keep getting interrupted with these stupid oinadserver popups..

 

It will take some time and work but we can remove the problems you're having.

Hi again...I am sorry I tried to do all you asked in the tute but got flustered when nothing would work...so I just ran the hijack and have attached the results

 

There are several things in that log we need to address. First, go into Control Panel and double click on Add/Remove Programs. In this list look for and uninstall "SpySpotter".

Once you complete this, in the thread "READ & RUN ME FIRST" there are some online virus scans listed in step 6. Please run as many of these as you can as they are all helpful in the removal of these infections. They are for your benefit so it's best to read carefully and do everything requested.

If you read carefully, the thread "READ & RUN ME FIRST" will explain in detail how to do everything we require. It will take some time but it can be done by just taking the time to read and follow instructions.

 

I did download and run the two items in step 5 but did not know what to dowith them.

 

ok ...I tried to follow all directions...I downloaded the AVG but it said it was corrupt and could not run it...I ran Spybot and deleted all it found...here are the 3 logs I ended up with...if I did not do something I am sorry but truly do not know much about the workings inside a PC

 

You did good with those logs, now all I need is the logs from step 6a.

 

Thanks for the complement but this is all VERY scary to me...I ran the two scans you requesd and they are attached..I have noticed that I get an arror message now when opne of the popups wants to appear..about switching to something because server is busy...then when I get rid of the error..the pop up takes over the screen...ALSO...Iwhen I ran CCleaner...I forgot to quarentine as you asked and just had the program fix what was wong..I hope I have not messed something up

 

1. Download this file - combofix.exe
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Attach this log to your next reply

Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.


Once you complete the scan above, reboot and attach a fresh HijackThis log.
