Please help with toshiba drivers

    hey guys im looking to take a new toshiba laptop back to xp im wondering if its possible at all considering some of the hardware

    the computer is a toshiba p205-s7476 here are some of the specs


    Toshiba Satellite P205-S7476 17" Laptop (Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5250, 2 GB RAM, 200 GB Hard Drive, Vista Premium)

    there is also a hd dvd rom player n this

    Some drivers for XP are not compatible for Vista--Ready hardware. Folks are having lots of trouble with sound after the down-grade.
    Best thing to do is download Everest, find out exactly what hardware you have, and then search for XP drivers for that hardware.

    It seems that laptop uses almost exclusively Intel devices: Intel 965GM chipset, X3100 video, 4965agn wifi, etc.... an XP and Vista modem driver is available at Toshiba's site, as are all the Vista drivers, and a few XP drivers. You can probably get XP drivers from the Intel web site by searching their downloads page for the appropriate model numbers...
