Pls help computer freeze

Hi pls help, my son plays D.O.W and C.S and the computer either frezzes or restarts with a error message or similiar.

error code 1000000d1,parameter1 01c49230, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 f7b6109e.

This has only become a problem in the last few weeks. I have reseated the graphis card and run ad-aware,trojan remover, spybot and nortons. I have reloaded drivers for nividia. I have not reformated hard drive as I do not feel confident to do this. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
