I've got this popup virus or worm, I think it got onto my pc through a fake torrent download. It gives pop up adverts for legit companies like T-Mobile as well as casino ads. the last URL It tried to pop up was for utarget.co.uk/redir.aspx?id=4635&ts= , any help would be appreciated, it usually only gives pop ups if the pc is very inactive or if I'm playing a pc game. I've tried spybot S&D, ad-aware and outpost is turned on.
I'm just gonna try a system reinstall in a few weeks if I cant solve it.

I think I found it, I updated counterspy and found that there was an infected .wav file in my counterstrike (computer game) folder. This file was downloaded because a server needed it when I was playing, the virus must have been incorparated into it or something, this make sense?

Very possible as you mentioned a rogue file from a torrent download, that can easily infect you with something.

If you still have any popups its best to run through our guide READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support and attach the requested logs, then our malware guys can have a look and see if malware is on your PC still.
