Pops and Clicks in B&W and GTA:VC

    When playing these two all the sound is polluted with pops and clicks. The more stuff that is going on, the more the problem occurs. Also, If i whack the resolution and detail up to acceptable levels (for my old PC), the problem gets worse.

    I'm running an Athlon 1Ghz, 384 MB RAM, with a Gamesurround Muse Lt Soundcard, and nVidia GeForcer 2. Newest drivers available, and Direct X 9.0c both installed (though I had the problem before I updated them).
