Port Forwarding problems w/ minecraft

    Okay. So I'm trying to make a personal mine craft server for my friends and I to play on. I go to my router's website thingy (where I can change the port forwarding options. ect.) I enter all the correct information into the fields (mine is a linksys WRT54G) it looks are follows:

    Application Start End Protocol IP Address Enable
    Name1 25565 25565 Both 192.168.1.??? (Check)

    The question marks are only there because that's how I typed it in here, not on the actual website.

    I use XP so I turn off my windows firewall and I completely shut down avast (my antivirus which also has a firewall) and no other security programs are running. And yes, I unchecked Block Anonymous Internet Requests box under security options. However, whenever I test the port on yougetsignal.com, it shows up as closed and when I try to connect through my external IP address the connection times out. Can somebody PLEASE explain to me what I'm doing wrong?
