powerpoint converter?

    hi guys,
    i'm a grad student and the majority of our lectures are given to download as powerpoints. this is great except those powerpoints that were created on a mac (which i don't) have problems showing certain pics and movies on a pc (which i have).
    anybody have any idea of how to convert these files?

    yeah, it just clarifies what the problem is... things saved in tiff formats and quicktime movies and all that jazz, no real solution though
