    JimLL I can't follow the rules

    XP Pro, SP3, current updates, Lenovo T60p laptop at 2ghz. Decades of computer experience then a noggin disaster.

    You can do things like Private Browsing to aid privacy. I've seen articles about removing stuff from the Documents and Settings/User/Recent folder.

    What would happen if you deleted the folder itself? I remember doing it accidentally on a win98 machine and never noticed any repercussions, but what about XP? If there is no folder to stash (this particular type of) your activities in they can't be stashed, right?
