Problem cloning harddisk....

I just buy a new harddisk 80G WD ATA100 8M.

So i want to clone my HD to the new one i have a 20G.

I have use norton ghost 2003 to clone i fallow the instructions everething is okay but when i place the new HD to master and reboot i have this message error: Disk boot failure,insert system disk and press enter.

I have try a few times but each time i get this error...

So what i am missing... I have Windows XP Pro SP1a English.

And i have acronis true image 8.0 but did not try this one yet is this one better ???

 

Old 20GB HD is still set as master, on first (and maybe ONLY) boot, and on IDE 0 (master).

 

I have used norton's and acronis 8 and it is by far the most easy to use and set up.

 

As Omeg said try checking the jumper pins on the back of your new hard drive are you using the old drive to because it will have to be set as slave, and the newer one will have to be set to master with slave
diagram on the top of the hard drive should show the config

 

Okay when i am finish with the cloning i remove completly my old HD 20g and
then i set my HD 80G to master Is there and error there somewhere ???

Should i keep my old HD there and set it to slave for the first start ???

Problem Fix i have use Acronis true image 8.0

And work the first time I am now one happy Dude
