Problem Formatting New Drive In Win10 - Raw Format?

    Hi,

    I have installed hard drives before,in Win10 too before without a problem.

    This one is a new one on me though.

    Win 10 only has NTFS as a drop down option, but when I attempt to format, it 'sees' RAW format & is unable to format the drive.

    Anyone come across this or suggest any course of action please?

    Very odd.

    Left it switched off overnight.

    Rebooted this morning & it let me format it straight off.
