    Good day all,

    Issue first details after...

I cannot load unsecure (HTTP) websites when hooked up to wireless hotspots. I can load HTTPS websites.

Now this only happens in Japan (so far) when I am at home or anywhere else I have no problems.

When I try to visit a HTTP website I get the usual "DONE" but the screen is blank. No errors no nothing just a pure blank screen.

When I visit a HTTPS website I have no problems.

I have turned off the Windows firewall, put all security settings on the lowest possible, except everything, turned off AV etc etc.

Is there something I'm missing? I find it difficult to believe that every hotspot I try in Japan is restricted. I am merely trying to access, Google, my bank, my work website nothing untoward.

Ran CCleaner, Adaware, SPybot on and on still no joy. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this?

I should add that I used t be able to access these sites until recently.

This happens with both FF3 and IE. I'm using WinXP Home

    Cheers and thanks
