Problem with my Paint

I have XP problem is I don't have paint on my computer. I read about where you go to add/remove and put a mark next to the games and the thing for paint. But it already is. I googled it and I got some paint off download.com which I needed to have NET framework for.. so I got that from there to. Is framework needed and why? Did I download right thing is all net framework right? I downloaded 2 the 1. something and 3.0 something. And Paint which isnt real paint. But anyways to get the normal paint back on?

 

Have you opened Control Panel and tried this
add/remove software> add/remove windows components ?
Paint should be listed as something you can add if it disappeared or was removed.
