Basically, I just bought a new dvd burner, the Sony DRU-800A. I installed the drive, hooked everything up and turned on the computer. I went to My Computer and it is only recognizing the burner and it isn't showing my DVD-Rom drive. I seem to have lost it after adding my new one. I tested it out and burned a disc, but it doesn't seem like it is burning any faster than the old one I had, even though it is significantly faster. Any help on what to do would be much appreciated. I went into the BIOS, but I only know so much in that area.

Did you install it using the correct Master/Slave heirachy?

Are both drives displayed correctly in the Bios and Device Manager?
