Problem with Opera and Email

Hi Everyone:

I have a question about the browser Opera and Email.

This afternoon I started having problems with my
email not connecting to the mail server. The message
I have been getting is:

Wrong Password
Server Response: ERR mail storage services unavailable.

I don't type in my password manually.

I went into "Manage Accounts"
and looked and although the password is entered as
asterisks, it appears that the number of letters or asterisks
is less than the number of letters or asterisks for the
word that is my password.

Version of Opera is 7.23
O/S is Win XP Home Version

I went into a forum for Opera and one of the posters was receiving the same message that I got. Other posters told that person
that it was a bug in that version of Opera.

Another thing to mention is I went on Cox.com which is my ISP.
In Network Status it said there is a problem with the email
for my area right now.

So, I'm confused as to whether the problem is on my side
or if it is the ISP.

Any thoughts?

Email started working again!

Cowboy, you were right. It seems to have been the ISP!
