Problem with Tiger Woods.

Recently installed a Brand new copy of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 on my machine.
Upon starting the game, I get a dialog box stating that it has encountered an error and needs to close.
My machine meets or surpasses all requirements for the game.
Sorry, but haven't yet copied the error numbers.( got too PO'ed at it,I guess.)

 

most problems with pc games are related to drivers or direct x. Make sure all of your drivers are up to date, and that direct x is up to date. there also could be an issue with user account control (for vista and 7) .

or you may just have to reinstall it. that sometimes fixes issues.

 

Try modifying the startup command to this and see:

"C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\bin\TW2008.exe" /NOINTRO

Also if you're running Win 7 search the CourseDownloads.net General forum as I remember a couple threads on getting TW08 to work with it.

Lots of user made courses there to download as well.

Am running XP Pro (32bit version).

Also, have already did the uninstall/reinstall.(3 times.) First thing I tried even before starting this thread.
