Problem with Windows Auto Update

    I'm running Windows XP:

    Recently, I haven't been able to update certain automatic updates, about six in total. At the end of the attempt to install, it just reads "the following updates were not installed".

    This has been going on for about a month.

    Any way to find out what is causing this situation?
