Problems after format

Greetings! I recently had issues whenever restarting my computer, I'd be met with an error saying something along the lines of java.exe somethingsomething, while also being told than I had no lan cable connected despite that not being true.

Figuring that it was more than likely some sort of malware, I ran malwarebyte and it came up with three results, which I then had it fix. It sadly did not fix the issue of the lan cable being detected, so I decided 'screw it' and resorted to simply format the machine instead.

Sadly, this did not seem to fix the problem, as it still does not detect the cable I've plugged in and, idiotic as I was, I did not think to save the names of the threats found as I assumed everything would simply work after they were dealt with.

I of course checked that the cable is working, and am posting this from a laptop using it, just to be completely sure.

I ran the different scans and have attached the logs as instructed. Not sure if it bears mentioning, but the only thing I installed after the format were the ethernet drivers, and interl chipset device software.

Aside from the logs I was told to attach, another one called "procdll.txt" appeared on my desktop. Do I need to attack that, too?

If there's anything else I need to do, please let me know.

I suggest you post in the networking forum for additional assistance. This is not a malware issues.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. You can uninstall RogueKiller and HitManPro.
    2. Go back to step 4 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link

Are you sure? Because I find it rather weird that both problems would occur at the same time, and not be related. I mean, I got malware related errors, at the same time the computer suddenly stopped registering the network cable.

Well fair enough then, is it obvious from the logs that it's not malware related? I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm just trying to understand, because I find the whole thing rather confusing, what with two unrelated issues happening at the same time.

Looks like you were right, the cable connection just started working on its own again, no idea why. Thanks a lot for taking the time to look at my case though, I really appreciate it. :)

There was no malware in your logs and all the internet services were running, so I don't know why you were having issues. Good to know you got it working. ;)
