   Hi,
   
   After trying to remove a number of virus/malware my computer lost the ability to use IE, but still could use chrome and firefox. I tried reloading IE 7 and it failed to load, and now it hangs at the welcome screen. It does boot into safe mode.
   
   Any thoughts, and thanks in advance.

   Its possible you still have malware on your PC causing this as malware is sneeky, while many application may remove most of the malware at times you need a professional eye to help remove the remaining pests as they rename themselves and are not standard!
