   Working on de-scumming my brother's computer. WinXP, SP2
   
   Downloaded CCleaner, went to install, and as it is installing, (I answer yes to all the questions) it stops, and the install icon disappears from the download folder like it doen't exist anymore. Any suggestions on what I should do now?

   Not sure! What version is it? Did you get it from MG's?
   Did you try installing in safe mode? Shut down all other applications before installing.
