Hey guys I'm having some trouble with my Internet Explorer.
Everytime I open up the application Windows Installer pops up.

At first it was with microsoft publisher trying to install, I deleted that and thought it would fix the problem, but now it says its trying to install microsoft xp.

At first it was a malware problem, but since they can't find a source for this now, they think it may be a software problem.

Heres a link to the original thread.

It also pops up when trying to open important applications. Such as User accounts/system restore/ and other settings in the control panel including IE.

All three errors have to do with MS Office XP Pro with Front Page.
    Components needed are missing.
It either needs to be repaired or add/remove and clean install done.

I think the msi file is infected or something is wrong with it.
    I ended up adding .bak
to the msi.dll file and it stopped with the pop ups.

I opened up user accounts and it seems to be ok no problems.
Lets just hope its not temporary.
