Problems with pc recovery

    Hello
    I have a 4 year old pc with PC Angel as a preinstalled recovery program.
    I wanted to create a new image of my pc with updates etc, but a do not have any installation discs. can i delete pc angel and then install a new recovery program to create a new image and recovery backup.
    Please help
