I purchased a second hand "Cirrus logic CL-
GD5446BV-HC-A" pci video card to fit onto a
customer PC as his video card is not
working.......i wanted to test it to my PC so i
put in first my VGA cable into it. It starts
showing running bar of windows xp but i gets a
blank screen before the welcome screen.....i
din't got the damm display but if i put the VGA
cable in my onboard VGA slot i get
display...Now after searching on net i enable
VGA mode by using f8 key and got the
display....now i get the cirrus driver at the
display adapter in device manager but i can't
increase the resolution to more than
    800*600...

    Now my question is
    1) How can i install perfectly a new PCI slot
video card.....??means wat i need to change in
    bios.....?
    2) Please suggest me solutions to increase
the resolution if i can....nd also suggest
techniques through which i can understand
which second hand video card i can purchase
    which gives 1024*768 resolution...
