Problems with restore on Win 7 64bit

    I am having problems with system restore. I get an error stating Not supported error (0x80070032).

    As well as when I go to system security I get restore error, Unexpected error on property page (0x81000203).

    Any I deas???
    Any help would be great.
    I am running win 7 w/IE9

    Norton was a problem with system restore especially.
    Otherwise, if you type sfc /scannow in the search box, running sfc /scannow can check if system files have been corrupted, and replace them.
    You may need the Windows 7 disc handy .

    Ok, Ive tried sfc /scannow in admin mode, Runs for like a milisec. Checked Windows Event Log and the Task Scheduler. Turned Event log to auto, Task sched was already on. Checked for malware and still get error trying to create a restore point. Any other suggestions rolleyes

    At this point I would backup your files to a removable hard drive.

    Next I would do an Repair Install.

    Already backed up on external. Thx ...:( Ill try the repair install..

    Havent done it yet :( been busy using what I have on PC. Once the window opens Ill try what you say.
