processor temps

    hi

    one of my fans has just been makeing a noise like a jet plain so i opend everest to see which it was and its showing the fan on my pentium doing 3012rpm
    and temps of 110c 234f

    its never shown temps for the pentium before is that over the top?

    if so how do i keep it cool aswell as the fan thats on it my side case fan points straight to the side of the pentium

    its a pentium3 slot 1 at 450mhz

    There is no way your temperature is getting to that point.

    I'm guessing you are using the wrong sensor to monitor it.

    just going by the the temps that everest home edition is giveing me

    Definitely not right, your cpu couldn't run at 110c with a motherboard at 27c. Also your system would auto shut down at that temp. Either your sensor on cpu has gone (very rare) or you should try speedfan, available from MG downloads.

    getting no results for it in downloads
