program to download and save videos

    I am looking for a program, preferably free, which I can use to download and save videos. I do not want it for movies or music, but for financial videos which are included in articles on www.cnbc.com/www.bloomberg.com etc Some are long and I want to be able to refer to them on a different day so need them saved either on my HD or a DVD when I can play them at leisure.

    If you have firefox, use can use the extension called Video Download Helper. I have used it to download Youtube videos.

    Thanks Tgell - I do not use Firefox, always seem to have problems with some software with it. I notice that VideoDownloadHelper does have an IE version but it does not allow me to save these videos I am wanting to download.
