Program To Remove Background Noise In Audio Track?

    I have a bunch of audio tracks from a set of shows and I want to filter out the background noise of people screaming and talking ... is there a program that will help me get rid of that noise and be able to focus on the music instead??

    I'm a total newbie when it comes to audio software but am a very fast learner. :)

    Will appreciate any suggestions. :)
