program to transfer files to cell phone

Hi, new here, in need of some suggestions. I am looking for a program that will utilize file transfers from a computer to a cell phone. Like Motorola Phone Tools.....but actually works! I've had MPT for almost six months and it NEVER works, and when it does, it won't allow me to transfer. Motorola customer service is AWFUL and is of no help. I am so frustrated, all I want is to transfer some ringtones, wallpapers/photos I created through a USB cable!!! I don't want a program that sends me the tone over the internet, I just want to transfer it. Man...

I've tried SyncCell (doesn't work for my phone, a razr v3m from sprint), MobileEdit won't recognize my phone, DJtoneexpress is a pain, I don't want to buy it unless I know it works.

Please help me out here, I'm so frustrated.
