    Hi Fellow Geeks :wave

Why is it that when I download a programe and direct it to the external HDD L:\. It still rights Data Files to the C:\ Drive. Is it possible to have the whole program on my Ext HDD??. Now I have several Programs that are split between the two drives.
    Thanks for any advise.

Most programs are are made to use drive C: by default, and there may be no way to change this as it's built into the code of the programs. Some programs will allow you to change the install location and/or the storage location. But most are coded for drive C: for stability and to make things more universal.
