Issues began Thursday night, I believe. I suspect someone is the family was using my machine and clicked yes to a pop up of some kind, though no one will fess up. Issues are sudden and different than anything previous.
A couple of program errors pop up when apps try to load at start up.
    - acmon.exe the application was unable to start correctly 0x00000e5
    - InsOnCfg.exe was unable to start correctly 0x00000e5
Most programs now won't start at all on regular boot up. Firefox opens but hangs unresponsive after 2-3 pages. When I can finally get firefox to close I get a breakpoint error
    - The exception breakpoint . A breakpoint has been reached 0x80000003 occured in the application at location 0x0000000006C30EC83
Chrome & Edge won't open at all. Avast, MalwareBytes, etc. also won't open at all. Most open and seem to function normally in safe mode, though I still get "Tips can't be opened using the built-in administrator account. Sign in with a different account and try again."
I did Repair_windows.exe twice in safe mode but it did not fix the issues. Chrome would fail to open during the fixing process with the administrator account error.
Friday, I downloaded a Samsung update & repair program for my phone. Thought that might be it. When I tried to uninstall it, settings would open, but uninstall programs wouldn't. I can't remember the error specifically, but it was something like "windows uninstaller was not registered and to check with my administrator". I downloaded IObit uninstaller and it wouldn't open until I was in safe mode. I uninstalled the Samsung programs. No change in the original errors.
I don't know why I didn't connect the dots to malware and run through your process until this morning. I thought It was the damn Samsung program for sure and was fixated on getting it off the machine. But I ran through the malware removal process now in safe mode because none of it will run in regular boot.
    Logs attached.
This is an ASUS 64 bit machine running Windows 10.
    Thank you!

One note: Hitman pro ran in safe mode and found two items: "Ask toolbar" and "Funmoods" at f\HKLM\software\classes
But the program crashed during the export of the log file so I don't have one to attach. I tried it twice and was unsuccessful both times. "HitmanPro has stopped working". Sorry.

Remove what ADW found....otherwise, I am not finding any malware in your logs. I suggest you post in the software forum for further assistance.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8 or 10, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Thank you. Issues are still unchanged so I've removed the tools and will post in the software forum. Thank you.
