    Hi all,

I KNOW I should remember how to do this, but..................

I have a program for my digital camera software and one for the mp3 player software that start when I boot up. The icons remain on my toolbar and I have to exit or disable them manually everytime to stop them running in the background.

How do I turn them off lease?

Thanks, in advance, for the advice I know I will receive - after you all go "*sigh* - you dill Teejay!". :)

Have you gone to the start menu>all programs> start up and removed them?

Or the programs themselves might have a "run on start up" that you might have to turn off in the options

go start->run->type "msconfig", select the startup tab.
then just deselect them from the start up list, then reboot.
