Protect Software Copyright

    Hi, i use a VB language, currently developing a software for my company. Is there any way to protect my software copyright?

    If it is Your company, that is, your own the business, then Yes you certainly can Register a copyright.

    If, however, you are programming as an employee, your employer is considered to be the copyright holder.

    For Web pages displaying a copyright notice, the symbol entity is [noparse]#169[/noparse]

    The form for a copyright notice is:
    © copyright 2010 Your Name

    If that is plainly visible to anyone using the program, then that is considered a legitimate copyright, although if it is Registered it carries more weight.
