Mozilla T'bird is in malfunction mode and I need to furnish my PW, which I forgot, it has been so long since I had to use it.
I also do not remember where it is stored on my computer.
    Anyone help my malfunctioning memory?
    Thanks,
    Sarge

I don't know which version of T-bird you're running but according to a couple of posts I just read they say to:

    1. Go to
    > Tools > Options > Security > Passwords > Saved Password

    2. Tools>Options>Advanced>Saved Passwords>View Saved Passwords (if you are using version 1.0.7 or earlier) or in Tools>Options>Privacy>Passwords>View Saved Passwords (if you are using version 1.5+)

The file that they are stored in is signons.txt and the encryption for this file is in key3.db

    Hope this helps. :)

As long as you haven't set a master password mdonah's advice will work. However if a master password has been set it will not.
