question about blank dvds and deep burner pro

    first of all what is the difference between DVD+R and DVD-R??? also with DVD+R i can burn with deepburner but with DVD-R it burns about 65% then it fails.

    They are both fairly similar, but they have different companies backing each format. As long as your burner and software support both formats you shouldn't have too many problems.

    DVD-R/W, especially in early models had excellent compatibility with both standalone DVD players and DVD-ROM drives, but that difference has diminished with newer models.

    DVD+R/W has the advantage of Mount Rainier support (ability to drag and drop files) that's planned in future Windows, but in layman's terms, as long as your burner and software suport both formats, it shouldn't really affect you too much.

    Have you tried another media brand?

    The golden rule is to find a compatible media brand and stick with it. Not all brands will work in all burners.
