Question about burning?

  1. I hope this is the appropriate place to ask for a question about burning but was wondering about burning .cbr/.cbz files onto a DVD+R/-R and if they are viewable on a DVD Player on the TV at all, like with a DivX DVD Player? If not necessarily a DVD Player, what about something like a PS3? :confused

I believe those are comic book files. You need a comic book reader program for those, which DVD players and PS3s lack. You could use 7zip or Winrar to unzip those files to access the individual pictures and view them through the DVD player/PS3, if the pictures are compatible.

  3. Do you think it is possible to put CDisplay on a PS3 to be able to view them if they were burned onto a disc? Or even having CDisplay.exe on the burned disc, to be able to view them from a special DivX type DVD Player? Not sure if this sounds a bit crazy.

    No, it is not possible.
