Question about data transfer

    When transferring data from PC to PC using a lap-link cable, is any special software required? Or is there any software that's recommended to make it go easier? Or does one just use the built-in Windows XP File Transfer Wizard?

    Never bothered with transferrng nowadays - portable hard drives are the best way to go for me (or put all data on webspace/server and access it from there).

    However, in answer to your question - I've used the Windows utility one and have not had trouble with it at all :)
