I have a Realtek RTL8139 Ethernet card and a Linksys LNE100TX Ehternet card in my computer. In the Device Manager I see....

Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC
Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC - Packet Scheduler Miniport

    Linksys LNE100TX Fast Ethernet Adapter
Linksys LNE100TX Fast Ethernet Adapter - Packet Scheduler Miniport

Being a newbie when it comes to network stuff, I am wondering what are the Packet Scheduler Miniport devices and what are they used for?

And second, bother of the Packet Scheduler Miniport devices are disabled (red X), should these be enabled?

Sounds like the drivers are not properly installed.

I would enable them, if you can.

Thanks, I was able to re-enable them both. Do you know what those are used for?
I had to select "Show Hidden Devices" in order to see them.
