Curious... helping some folks out... they have a WinXP Home laptop...would like to set up a limited user account with very little access to the goodies in the system..
ie: no internet, no installs, no file deletes, etc. etc.

the laptop will not be hooked to a network as it is for people to take home...so domain users is not an option

is there a way to set up a permissions account better than just the "Limited" user in WinXP..I want to lock it down a little better

this is a charity so a third party piece of software is an option only if it is free or Reeeeeally cheap...
the trick is that the charity is going to be getting more laptops and the person there must be able to implement the solution on her own as I can't go in all the time to do it for them.....

    any thoughts?

    thanks Exeter
