Question about video cards/multiple screens

  1. I want to hook up my tv to my computer and use it to watch movies using the S-video connection from the card. I tried to do it and I couldn't watch a movie on the tv without the main monitor shoing the same movie. I have a Nvida 6600 and a 5600 card. (Not at the same time, two to choose from) Is there a way I can watch a movie on the TV and still have the monitor open to surf the net etc? Not sure if I asked right or not but I can clarify better if ya need me too.

I could be wrong but im not sure thats possible!

I dont think you can output video from the same card on 2 different formats

(S-video for the TV and presummably DVI for the monitor
