If i have both AVG ani-virus and Norton anti-virus installed on my computer... will it cause a conflict and make my computer slow or anything?

    jarcher I can't handle a title

    Slow . that I don't know. . maybe. .
But what I do know is that having more than one Anti virus is not good
they do cause conflict between each other, I don't remember exactly why, specificly. .but it would be best to remove one of them
I would stick with AVG ,it's smaller and works just as well(if not better) as norton. . and it is free(norton you have to pay to keep up to date)

Agree with JA. Common wisdom is to use 1 AV only, although 1 computer mag editor that I know uses 2 at once. You apparently sometimes get false alarms. Me, I'd rather use 1 only. I happen to currently use Avast, having changed from being a longtime user of AVG. Get rid of your NAV now, or when your subscription runs out. The free ones are just as good, IMHO. Bazza
