Question about WinXP start menu

    Is there a way to add a custom icon to the XP Start Menu? I'm referring to the icon that appears at the top next to the user name (see screen shot below). I'm pretty sure it's a registry tweak somewhere....

    Sure. Go to Control Panel, User Accounts, edit your account. Click on change my picture, then browse for the one you want. Works in the Vista as well.

    No problem dlb. Of course it is actually easier to do than my above post. All you have to do is click on start, then doubleclick on the picture... ;)
