Question on Smiley Central?????

    I go to another forum for seniors a discussion group,I had Smiley Central on my e-mail and had no problems,now l'm told that Smiley Central is "spyware" is this true,if it is ,is there others programs out there that are free to download and use on e-mails and forums,that are not spyware.
