   When you install it over WMP10, will control panel software update still show WMP10 or 11 or both, and if both, do you simply 'remove' 10 from control panel? I'm aware that WMP is a Windows component and doesn't totally uninstall.

   I installed it over v 10. Runtime and Player updates in control panel add/rem changed to 11 as expected.
