If I put my computer into the recovery console, whats the command to copy a file off of the Windows XP disc and into the system32 file?

First you need to know what drive path your cdrom is set at.

    So, type in:

map (press enter). This should give you the drive you require to copy from.

    To copy from the cdrom.

copy (drive letter provided by map):\i386\blah.exe c:\windows\system32
    i.e.
    copy e:\i386\blah.exe c:\windows\system32 (press enter)
