Quick XP Question: Hide programs in start menu

    I installed XP Pro maybe 3 weeks ago, and so far the Start Menu has not hidden any of the programs I have used. I don't think I touched any setting to say not to, but I did tell it not to hide any of the little icons next to the clock. This sounds like it would be easy, but how can I have it hide less used programs in the Start menu? I'm probably overlooking a simple option.
