QuickTime video is jagged

    I am running WinXp and when I run quicktime the image is jagged and you really can't make out anything. Sound is okay. Sometimes I get a green area below and a squished upper area.
    I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no change.

    How much RAM do you have? And how many programs are running at start up? It could be your system resources are too low for smooth video. Have you tried other video files, or playing a DVD?
