    Bump.
    No-one using / used it? :confused:
    It seems to speed up my PC but am curious on RAM versus hard drive usage. :confused:
    Anyone willing to give it a try? @COMPUABLE @Halo :D

    Nope, sorry bazza never used it. (Not a helpful response lol)

    On another note I disable my page file completely with 2gb of ram and run Visual Studio 2005 (sometimes up to 3 instances) and other resource hogs with no problems. This actually seems nociably faster than using a page file.

    Thanks matt for the helpful response. I've been thinking of disabling my page file, as well. Must bite the bullet and give it a try. Just a question though, do you actually delete it, or how do you disable it? Bazza

    You can't just delete it.

    COntrol Panel -> System

    Advanced Tab ->click settings in the Performance group box

    Advanced Tab again Then settings in the virtual Memory groupbox.

    Then just set it to no page file.

    WOrks absolutly fine for me with 2gb, depending on what you run you should be fine with 1 gb
