    After I ran MGlogs, my computer would not connect to the internet. That was fun. :) System restore fixed it. I hope system restore did not alter the logs in any way. The programs did not seem to find anything, but I have a problem that originated on Facebook. Posted in the other topic forum.

    My lap top freezes, gets real loud, slows and stops loading and flashes when I go on Facebook. What ever was causing that had migrated to other areas in the computer and began to be problematic in the same way, but system restore fixed that. System Restore did not fix the Facebook problem though.

    I was hoping someone here might have some experience with this. Thanks!

    Not finding any malware, but please attach the log from running RogueKiller.

    Rerun RogueKiller and remove these items:

    ¤¤¤ Registry : 4 ¤¤¤
    [Suspicious.Path] HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{9869EFB4-18E9-11D3-A837-00104B9E30B5} (C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\CmdLineExt02.dll) -> Found
    [PUP.Coupons|Suspicious.Path|PUP.Gen0|VT.ApplicUnwnt] HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{A85A5E6A-DE2C-4F4E-99DC-F469DF5A0EEC} (C:\Windows\COUPON~1.OCX) -> Found

    Reboot and rescan and attach the new log. Be sure to tell me how things are running.

    Oh I am sorry, I had already deleted those before I sent the log. What ever it was, it seems to have no impact on the problem I am having with certain websites. Nothing has changed. I'll see if I can get the new log. Thanks!

    Just a quick question though. Can I delete the items in the "temp" folder at C:\Users\user\appdata\local\Temp
    Seems like if its temporary, it can be removed, but I am not sure.

    Yes, you can empty your temp folder.

    Thanks.

    The attached file has 2 found things in it but it's just because I changed my home page.

    It's clean. If you are still having issues that are non-malware related, please post in the software forum for further assistance.

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8 or 10, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

    Nothing has changed. The scans didn't find the problem. My computer is very slow and it seems to be working overtime. I do appreciate you looking at the scans. Thank you. I'm not sure what else to do.

    Since you are not having malware issues, post in the software forum for your issues with Facebook.
