    Hi,

I'm new to the site and I don't have a lot of computer skills. I installed FRST64 and I have the text here. Could you please help me out. Thanks.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Download this >> View attachment fixlist.txt

Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your flash drive.
Now reboot back into the System Recovery Options as you did previously.
Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
Please attach this to your next message. (See how to attach)

Now see if you can boot into normal Windows.

Boot to the Recovery Environment again and get to the command prompt like you did when running FRST. Then run the below ( note there is a space after sfc and note the direction of the / ).

    sfc /scannow

    What happens?

Well we removes the remainder of the infection in the last fix and also took steps that have always repaired the damage cause by running Windows Defender Offline (WDO). We have probably repaired way more than 100 PCs this way. So I'm not sure why this did not work. Perhaps this is a newer form of infection and something else is hiding, or perhaps WDO is causing more damage then it used to.

Your problems may not be fixable without a reinstall. Do you have your data backed up?

    Hi,

About 5 minutes after I posted that the computer would'nt start, it started just fine. Should I do anything else? Thanks again.

Well that's good news. Based on the infection you had, I would strongly recommend that you now run our full cleaning process ( see link below ) to make sure your PC is clean.
