Ok heres my problem and heres what ive done...

The problem is that anywhere in windows where there is a menu or anything that basically moves,it jitters around like crazy....i.e dropdown menus, browser windows scrolling violently, program list flickering away before i can click a program ect..
This seems to happen in any program where there are handles/scrollbars menu's ect..

I tried to do everthing i could suggested in the stickys, ive done almost all of it but cant do all of it due to this problem, which makes it excruciatingly difficult to make posts let alone opperate programs well
But i have done (in this order)

1- defrag w/ perfect disk (needed it anyway, wanted scans to be quicker)
2- installed and updated all the progs suggested (ccleaner, adware se,spybot, win defender, win malicious remover, counter spy,cw shredder,kill2me,

(I dont have system restore enabled anyway)

3-Booted in safe mode (or go blind mode as i like to call it!)
4-removed a few dodgey looking progs from add-remove list
5-Ran all the scans + symantec scan too, lots of files found and repaired
6- ran hijack this (logg attached)
    7- re-booted normally

2 hours later no change at all,

All i wanna know is whether this is acctually a malware problem or is it just my mouse screwed...

Also i had sp 2 but deleted the updates due to a blueyonder tech guy telling me to (to solve a modem problem, it didnt work anyway!)
Now i try to update on MS.com and it just says it cant install updates for some reason!
It doesnt really tell me why (par for the coarse for P.C's eh?)

    So thats it i think,

    Thanx

    Adey

p.s Tried attacting log....but it wont let me.....typical!!

You must post your HJT log here on Majorgeeks! That link you gave does not have anyway to display your log.

Either attach it here or if you cannot attach it, post it inline and I will convert it.

There is no malware showing in your HJT log but it does appear that some one has been removing/fixing items (possible with HJT) that probably should not have been fixed. I say this because things that normally appear in most logs are missing from yours.

At anyrate, based solely on your HJT log and nothing else, you are not having malware problems.

Yes! "inline" means as text with in your message.
